This spool is made in Ohio of hard maple. It has been grooved to fit comfortably in your hand for more ergonomic working and reguced fatigue. It comes packaged in a plastic tube with a custom stylus for manipulating wire or fiber. The center hole is the same as on the 5-pin spool, but the spacing of the pins creates a more open design. It can be used for both single knit and double knit techniques.
